I'm Jesse Powell, student minister at Journey Church. I was born and raised a little east of here in Tallassee but am proud to now call Millbrook home. I attended Troy University, during which time I met my wife Stefanie while serving as a summer missionary at the Grand Canyon. The 6 years following graduation were spent in the insurance industry doing a number of different things. In June of 2011 I began doing student ministry part-time on what I thought was an interim basis. God had other plans, and in September He opened the door for me to begin serving Journey Church full time. I am blessed to be able to minister to the students of this church and their families, and fulfill the vision of Journey Church.
