‘Fight the Drift’ – 10.2.2022

We were created by God for connection, but we drift towards isolation.

…You’re no longer strangers or outsiders. You belong here… Ephesians 2:19 MSG

…You’re no longer strangers or outsiders. You belong here, with as much right to the name Christian as anyone. God is building a home…  … He used the apostles and prophets for the foundation. Now he’s using you, fitting you in brick by brick, stone by stone, with Christ Jesus as the cornerstone that holds all the parts together. Ephesians 2:19-22 MSG

Remember the faithfulness of God.

21 Then Joshua said to the Israelites, “In the future your children will ask, ‘What do these stones mean?’  22 Then you can tell them, ‘This is where the Israelites crossed the Jordan on dry ground.’ 23 For the Lord your God dried up the river right before your eyes, and he kept it dry until you were all across, just as he did at the Red Sea when he dried it up until we had all crossed over.’”          Joshua 4:21-23 NLT

Rely on God’s people.

Wrong people = Wrong results

Right People = Not just the right results, but the right direction.

7 Stay away from fools, for you won’t find knowledge on their lips. Proverbs 14:7 NLT
