‘Making Memories’ – 7.03.2022

15 So be careful how you live.  Don’t live like fools, but like those who are wise.  16 Make the most of every opportunity in these evil days.  Ephesians 5:15-16

Memories strengthen identity, purpose and bonds our relationships.

Memory moments are defined by an action expressed in an emotion!

5 We destroy every proud obstacle that keeps people from knowing God. We capture their rebellious thoughts and teach them to obey Christ.  2 Corinthians 10:5

Recognize that making memories is God’s idea!

God wants to give us memories from our spiritual experiences!

These memories of our spiritual experience become our testimony

13 The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, he will show you a way out so that you can endure. 1 Corinthians 10:13

Making memories will cost you time and effort.

Don’t let the enemy steal or control your memories.

17 He will listen to the prayers of the destitute.  He will not reject their pleas.  Psalm 102:17

13 No, dear brothers and sisters, I have not achieved it, but I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead, 14 I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us.  Philippians 3:13-14
